A Kingdom of Strife [OOC, Medievalish]

I haven't gotten to far on the exacts of the situation, but the setting is a kingdom called Vendland, or Vendia, or the Vendish Isles, an approximation of England in the 15th century or so. The essential plot will be one of a war between claimants to the throne, though I haven't entirely fleshed that out. This essentially mirrors the Wars of the Roses in the 15th century in England.

I'm probably shooting for a low fantasy sort of scenario, but I'm not sure how low fantasy. In any case, I'm still sort of trying to work through it all and write up things like people and events so as to have a clearer picture of what it will be like. Rather than going for a more heroic sort of fantasy, I sort of want to make this one a lot more ambiguous, morally.
