So have you?
I'm trying to recall what we've rented from Red Box lately and am having a hard time doing that! One of my favorites that we rented - and I plan to buy - was Up! Definitely different from what I expected and I loved the movie! The commercials for it are a little misleading as far as giving you and idea of what the film is about, so if you haven't seen it or have scratched it off your list -- rent it!
Hm. What else did we see?
Oh, finally got to see Vantage Point. Not sure what anyone else (a.k.a critics) said about this one but my husband and I liked this one a lot. We bought a copy to add to our movie collection. (I never listen to critics anyway, so I don't really care what they said about this movie).
88 Minutes was another we watched (and bought) recently. Our local F.Y.E is closing its store so we checked out their big sale. We bought thirteen movies for around $50-$55.

Re: Seen Any Good Movies Lately?
Saw the new Freddy....err Nightmare on Elm Street the other day. Well I guess about a month ago. It's an ok film, but it lacks something the originals had. You could say its Robert Englund certainly, but I think there is something more than just that. I can't quite put my fingers on it, but all in all its ok especially for us horror junkies.

We'll see it just 'cuz. We did, however, buy a 4-pack that has all of the original Nightmare on Elm Street movies! We just watched the first one the day and marveled at the fact that it was like Johnny Depp's first film or something like that. We poked fun at the TERRIBLE acting, especially on that of the mother. Dude, she sucks, lol! Still, t'was good fun to watch it.
Rented White Out, Extraordinary Measures, and Legion the other night. Extraordinary Measures is good. A few spots seem to just drag but all in all it was worth renting. White Out I'll buy. It was good, fun entertaining and Kate Beckinsale is my babe. She's the only chick I'd actually become a lesbian for. So yeah, gotta buy my Kate movie. Legion I'll buy. I loved the story line, especially between Michael and Gabriel. I'm also really getting into the whole angels and demons thing, so this will be added to our ever-growing and impressive movie collection.
We also rented Rob Zombie's Halloween like a week or so ago. Jeff and I both didn't see a need for the rape scene, but other than that, it was okay. At least this one gave a plausible explanation for Michael being the psycho whack job that he is.
